Pastor Darrell Evans is the founder and serves as Senior Pastor of The Way Church (formerly known as New Living Way Christian Fellowship Church) in Greenville, MS. He was born and raised in Greenville and received his formal education at the Greenville Public Schools.
He later attended Delta State University and graduated in 1994 majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. He was inspired after his conversion to attend bible school because of his deep seated hunger for God.
Pastor Norchell Evans, a native of Greenville, MS, is an assistant and Co-Pastor to her husband Pastor Darrell Evans. Married in 1995, they have two daughters, E’lesia Simone and Aniya Danielle.
Together, they founded The Way Church in 2001, formerly known as New Living Way Christian Fellowship Church. At The Way Church, Pastor Norchell oversees the Business Office, Intercessors, & the Dance Ministry.

Therefore, he attended several bible schools such as Word of Life Bible Training Center in Jackson, MS in 1997 and graduated in 1999. He later attended the Ministry School Institute from Agape Storage Christian Center in Greenville, MS and graduated in 2007. He continued his studies in the fall of 2009 and enrolled into Sonship School of the Firstborn in Killeen, TX, and graduated in 2011. He serves today as an ordained minister and he is currently a student at Reformed Theological Seminary School.
As a woman diligent in prayer and fasting, Pastor Norchell faithfully studies and implements effective prayer strategies. After seeking God on how to help others grow in their intercession, in 2019, Pastor Norchell started Fasting Warriors Fasting unto God.
